Day & Co Homes started with a simple observation: homeowners in the Charlotte area deserved a contractor they could actually trust. Our owner spent years in sales before making the move to residential construction. Once she got her hands on the building side of things, there was no going back.

After seeing how often homeowners were left frustrated by contractors who overpromised and underdelivered, she set out to be the opposite. She became the kind of contractor she would want to call herself — someone who shows up, communicates clearly, and knows the work inside and out.

As a woman-owned business in a male-dominated industry, Day & Co Homes brings a different perspective to every project. Our owner is personally invested in every build, every detail, and every client relationship. That is not something you find at a big box contractor or a franchise operation.

We are a small, family-owned LLC based in Charlotte, NC. That means when you call Day & Co Homes, you get the owner — not a call center, not a rotating crew of subcontractors you have never met. You get someone who is personally invested in how your project turns out.

Our specialty is custom deck building and outdoor living spaces. We design and build decks that extend your home's livable square footage and hold up through Carolina summers and winters alike. Beyond decks, we remodel kitchens and bathrooms, finish basements and garages, and build ADUs — handling everything from start to finish.

We serve homeowners across the greater Charlotte region, including Gastonia, Kings Mountain, Fort Mill, Rock Hill, and Tega Cay. If you are in one of these areas and have a project in mind, we want to hear about it.

Day and her crew remodeled our kitchen. Day provides excellent communication and is very detailed with her information. Her and the crew took the time and effort to make sure everything was to their liking, being very detailed with the build. Our kitchen turned out better than we could have ever imagined and we are beyond grateful that we found them to do this job! They also put up railing to our deck that was never installed when we bought the house and now our deck looks and feels complete! We will have them back for any and all work that we want done to the house going forward. Lastly, the pricing is fair and to the point, no hidden fees or extreme. You want something done really good and correctly, look no further.

Ours was a relatively small project - replacing a cracked tile at the entrance to our shower. I reached out to Day and she was terrific to work with. She promptly came over to review the job and develop an estimate, submitted that to me timely, and then scheduled the work to my convenience. She and her team were prompt arriving, kept me informed throughout the work for any additional scope (there was none), and completed the job very professionally, including spotless cleanup. I will certainly recommend DCH Demolition to others and will use them again without hesitation when needed.
